Shake-a-leg are an English Country Dance
Band based in Lancashire, England. Their
Music in not typical of what one normally
expects from a Ceilidh Band.
The Shakers have become renowned
for delivering a strong jazzy, stompy feel
to their material.
Often in demand at a whole range of gigs
from social dances to festivals, delivering
fun, invariably raucous nights of dynamic
dance music with plenty of improvisation.

Loose Chippings was formed by Phil whilst he
was resident on the Fylde Coast in 1981. The group
has recently enjoyed its 21st year together.
Throughout the years The Chips have
stormed many a festival with their massive exciting
sound and spectacular stage show.
Always difficult to pigeon hole but some of these
tags get close: Northern Crackpot, Vaudeville,
Big Band, Rock, Folk
and more, the
list is endless.
Their most recent Resurfaced 2002
tour was a great success, finishing off Warwick
Folk Festival 2002 to a packed house with countless
encores!
