Chieftain Alto F V3 Tuneable
Description

This, like other Chieftain’s, is a factory made whistle and has an aluminium body with a flat-topped mouthpiece and rounded sides. There is a reassuring solidity and consistency with these instruments, chiefly because of the continuous honing of the production techniques used by Chieftain. The holes are well engineered and perhaps slightly larger than comparative Alto F’s.

A very fulfilling instrument to play - professional level in all respects.

F Alto Shaw
Description

Shaw Whistles are traditionally built in rolled nickel plate. They are of conical bore and have a wooden underlip. Due to this build type, Shaws have a soft warm sound and intonation is consistently good. The breathy sound produced cannot be found in many other whistles and to this end they are quite distinctive. Dave Shaw, the maker, is an excellent musician and craftsman and voices all his whistles by hand. Shaws come complete with a presentation cardboard base gift case with transparent lid. The product weight shown is the gross weight of the package.

Mr. Weyer says: The Shaw Alto F is a great stepping stone before the big jump up to a Low Whistle. Perhaps they take a little more air/breath than comparable Alto F's, but the sound produced is rich and flute like.

Susato Alto F Tuneable
Description

Susato Whistles are made in the USA from high impact ABS, a quality plastic particularly suited for musical instruments. Two-piece Susatos have pitch adjustable body joints and feature a circular windway with individual voicing. A simple fingering chart is included with all Susatos. Susatos are noted for their bright sound and being plastic the intonation is good. The price shown includes a carrying bag, thumbrest and fingering chart.

Mr. Wetyer says: a reasonably priced and tuneable Alto F Whistle. Lots of bits are included for the price, a thumbrest, a case and a simple tutor sheet.
