It is comprehensive and will not disappoint. Basically all the information you will need, historical notes, whistle basics. We would say this is a good publication for someone with existing musical experience. Even includes whistle duets and a section on making your own whistle.

The included soundtrack CD features all the tunes published in the book.

This tutor is for beginners and learners on the wooden, simple system flute. It is designed for self-teaching of this six holed instrument. The fingering applies to all such flutes - whether the 'Concert' flute in the key of D, or the more widely available fife or band flute.

Since fingering the Whistle is the same as the on simple systerm flute, this book is particularly suited to those who wish to learn Whistle with a view to later taking up the flute. There is a good selection of tunes (without chords).
